Rodents
Rodents
Cumbria Pest/Hygiene and Training Services can deal with any rodent problems that you may have.
Rodents can cause harm to humans either by biting or through contamination. With moles even though they are a pest and make a damage of gardens and lawns they are not as harmful as rats and mice. Rats and mice can bite humans and they carry a lot of diseases which can cause an infection if a bite has occured. They can also contaminate worktops and as a result can contaminate food as well which can be passed on to humans when they have eaten something that has been produced on an unclean worktop. We have experience with dealing with rats, mice, moles so if you have a rodent problem then please get in touch as it could be harmful to yourselves and families if worktops and food surfaces become contaminated.
Rodents need to gnaw so that their teeth do not grow to long and as a result they can therefore damage and chew through pipes and cables which could then cost you a lot of money to repair or replace.
Rodents also reproduce at a very fast rate so if you have a rodent problem for a number of months that has not been dealt with then it is more than likely that the infestation will have increased in size.
