Wasps can also be a problem in the home especially as wasps can provide a nasty sting wo which some people are allergic. Unlike bees wasps can sting time and time again so do not anger a wasps nest as this could be very painful. Wasps are identifiable by their yellow and blck striped bodies and the buzzing noise that they produce. A single wasps nest can produce 30,000 wasps. Signs of a wasp nest is a number of wasps flying and gathering around one particular place, there will be a constant buzzing sound from the wasps and obviously if you can see a nest which is usually a light colour then this is a sign of infestation. Wasps like flies can contaminate food and food surfaces if they land.
