Bees
Bees
Bees are also now in season with the summer time however we do not like to harm bees and here are a few points why:
- They are important pollinators
- Three types of bee are already extinct in the UK
- They pollinate a variety of crops throughout the UK which contributes to the economy
- They are not aggressive
Bees nests can be moved quickly and safely without having to kill bees. If bees become extinct then this would cause more of an impact that you would think with regards to pollination and the honey that they produce that is why we do not like to kill bees. Where possible bees should be left alone and their nests undisturbed. The usual place for a bees nest is in hollow trees, wall cavities and roofs. An average bee colony can contain around 30,000 bees and bees only attck when provoked so do not disturb a bees nest if you find one.
